These pictures of the night blooming cereus were taken the night of
July 15, 2010, by Dr. Gerald Grow, journalism professor retired, emeritus of
Florida A&M University. Using a point and shoot Canon camera, Dr. Grow
was able to capture the essence of these short-lived flowers with unmatched
